We love Chickadee Creek Farm. After trying many different organic farm shares in the area, we found Chickadee CSA and have never been happier. Jess, the owner, and her whole team put their heart and soul (and sweat :) farming ain't easy!) Into everything they do and you can taste it. Everything they produce is the highest quality you can find anywhere. I appreciate the weekly update emails they send to keep members informed. Also their seasonal plant sales are awesome. We love getting a few different herbs and flowers to grow every season.

This is the most flexible CSA out there... You can pick your own strawberries, blackberries, cherry tomatoes, herbs and flowers if you want. You can spend what you want each week, skip a week and Choose what you want. She sells greens in the winter months!!! You can get plants in the spring for your own garden. This is the smartest, best farm in the area. I highly recommend checking it out.

We've been farm members of Chickadee Creek for years, and we love that we get to spend our money on exactly what we want! They come right to our neighborhood every week at the Denville Farmers Market, and we can even order ahead so we're sure not to miss out on our favorites. And the produce is amazing! This week we're raving about the asparagus, but it's all so good - leafy greens, garlic, carrots, radishes, cucumbers... I could go on. They even make gorgeous Christmas wreaths! Everything they grow shows the love and care they put into the earth.

I am enormously grateful that a small farmer like Jess is willing and able to keep alive the tradition of organic farming in our area!! Her produce is always fantastic, and she (and the other farm staff) are always an absolute delight to interact with. We also love the flexibility of being able to go to multiple markets on different days, or to pick up at the farm on occasion. Great variety of veggies, fruits and flowers, and nice pick your own options too! Hurray for Chickadee Creek!!!!!

Chickadee Creek Farm is a jewel among the many wonderful growers in NJ. I shop at various farm markets, which allows me to follow Chickadee Creek Farm through the seasons. The produce they bring to market is beautiful, shoppers can order ahead or purchase on the spot, and Jess and her team deserve special credit for keeping us well fed during the early months of covid when fresh food was otherwise hard to obtain. Thank you to all at Chickadee Creek Farm who make it possible for me cook meals out of locally grown, organic produce, and to do it year round.

Chickadee Creek Farm is among the best the Garden State has to offer. Jess and her team have provided fresh organic produce through the worst of the pandemic and right up to the present. The garlic, Chinese cabbage, watermelon radish -- I don't want to say too much, because I hope there's still more on the shelf next time I'm shopping! (Seriously, there is plenty for all.) And oh, the carrots and canned tomatoes... and that's just from the winter crops.

I love this CSA. The vegetables are delicious, the choices are numerous, and your purchase/membership supports and organic farm which is operated by a very energetic and dedicated crew.

I love the Chickadee Creek CSA! There is so much flexibility in being able to shop at the market for whatever I am looking to cook that week. The produce is absolutely delicious, and I am spoiled by the quality of the food; shopping at the markets is my favorite way to plan the week's food! The plants from the spring plant sale are also wonderful and so unique. My favorite farm!

As a student of nutrition since the seventies, the quality of vegetables is critically important to my decision as to where to purchase my food. Chickadee Creek Farm is outstanding.  Everything is incredibly fresh, the variety is impressive, and the system that the crew has put in place to make sure that we get nutrient dense food every week of the year is quite flawless.  How luck are we to have Chickadee Creek Farm in Hopewell Valley?
